The Opportunity 💻

You’ll be leading the charge in analyzing data about our product, our customers, our business and our markets. Working closely with the heads of credit, product and market operations, you’ll unearth powerful insights that will give us a deeper understanding of how to best serve our customers and help drive the company strategy.

As one of the early members of Team Jia, you will be shaping the future of this revolutionary business working to solve the $5 trillion credit gap for micro entrepreneurs and small businesses in emerging markets. This is a role with strong autonomy and independence with the ability to carve and shape your contributions to a company that is mission-driven and expanding financial access globally.

Responsibilities

Dive into our database to extract, clean, and analyze data.
Work cross-functionally to understand business requirements, provide data-driven insights, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators.
Wrangle unstructured data, integrate new data sources, and contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality.
Develop and present reports to external stakeholders and investors.
Use machine learning methods to contribute to predictive models.

Qualifications

Be an ambitious self-starter comfortable with solving hard problems and working through ambiguity.
Be passionate about building for underserved communities across the globe.
Have a bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, or computer science, or a certificate in data science.
Have experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Python or R.
Have an interest in and understanding of cryptocurrencies and Web3.
