The Role

We’re looking for a sharp, hands-on Credit Risk Analyst to join our growing team in the Philippines. In this role, you’ll evaluate SME borrower applications, analyze financials, and apply Jia’s credit framework with judgment and curiosity. You’ll be central to our credit decision-making, ensuring we back strong businesses while continuously improving how we assess and manage risk.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end borrower evaluations and deliver sound credit recommendations
• Analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) to assess creditworthiness
• Engage borrowers directly to uncover the real credit story
• Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure smooth credit processes
• Partner with global credit leadership to refine Jia’s underwriting approach
• Spot opportunities to improve our processes, tools, and credit models

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years’ experience in credit risk analysis, financial analysis, or SME lending
• Strong financial statement analysis skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Curiosity, problem-solving instincts, and an investigative mindset

Nice to Have

• SQL or Python skills for underwriting and data analysis
• Experience in fintech, alternative lending, or commercial banking
• Familiarity with credit scoring models or statistical analysis
